Hans J. Wegner once famously quoted that 'the good chair is a task one is never completely done with'. It was no surprise that when he designed a new collection of work for Carl Hansen in 1970, he broke with his own convention for wood - seen in famous pieces such as the Peacock and Wishbone Chairs - in favour of glass, steel and leather. With the CH101/2/3 Chairs, he created modern icons in their own right. Meticulously-finished with finely-stitched leather, original versions of this set have gone on to become collectors items. The CH101 Armchair is available as a 2 and 3-seater sofa. Our products are reproduced to the style of the original design.
