The Womb Chair is one of the most iconic and recognized representations of mid-century modern. Perhaps one of the most popular continuous production pieces, the famous Chair + Ottoman by Saarinen is renowned for its comfort. The sweeping structure with indented armrests and movable cushions enables you to lounge, sit upright or slouch, in whichever way you desire. Womb Chair was made to curl up in, So position it in a place where you can truly relax. The base is a highly polished stainless steel rod. The frame and upholstery is foam over a moulded, reinforced fibreglass shell on chair, and foam cushion over moulded plywood platform on Ottoman. Separate seat, back, and Ottoman cushions are constructed of polyester fibre with foam core and all covered in a gorgeously soft cashmere fabric!
