The ergonomic form of the Panton S Chair provides superb seating comfort and very stylish artistic visual decor with vibrant satin colours and the chairs can be stacked to save space. Suitable for both modern and traditional decors at commercial and domestic homely level.
Designed by Verner Panton in the 1960’s, this S-shaped plastic chair is considered one of the world’s first molded plastic chairs and is considered to be a masterpiece of Danish designs. Panton too dreamt of making a stackable plastic chair that is all one piece and his idea for the S chair was actually thought to have been inspired by a neatly stacked pile of plastic buckets.
In 1956, he designed the S Chair which is a chair in which the back, seat, and legs are made of one continuous piece and the S Chair was considered a forerunner to the Panton Chair. The strong, yet flexible moulded shell is manufactured from high-quality moulded ABS plastic, in keeping with the original style of Panton design. The S chair is availble in stunning and vibrant colours, also in high quality and strong molded Fiberglass.
