Product Overview
King of Modernism, Le Corbusier, designed the LC2 comfort sofa for the Salon d’Automne in Paris, since which this leather sofa design has become a much loved design favourite. Designed in 1929 by architect le Corbusier.
The support/cushion system, as in the Le Corbusier project, makes possible a wide range of different combinations giving seats of varying sizes and conformation. The three-seater LC2, developed from sketches dating from 1928 and representing a derivation of the Grand Confort armchair, enables the arrangement of a combination - always perfectly in tune with the proportional dimensions called for the project - more appropriate for areas designated mainly for a prestige reception role.
