The famous Charles Eames Iconic Lounge Chair Ottoman was designed in 1956, for the fiftieth birthday of his friend Hollywood film maker Billy Wilder. Charles & Ray Eames were the 20th century furniture designers, together they had a lasting influence on mid-century design and are regarded as two of the most iconic furniture designers of their time.
Our Iconic Eames inspired Lounge chair is a supremely comfortable chair, upholstered with high quality and durable Italian leather and has sumptuously cushioned leather seat pads which invites you in. Set on a wood-veneered plywood shell on aluminium supports and a cast aluminium base. Shock mounts allow the backrest and headrest to flex slightly in use.
