The Wire Diamond Chair is based on the 1952 designs of Harry Bertoia, The mesh frame design is iconic of Bertoias design style and experiments into bending metal rods to form practical art. Creating a well thought out, crafted and aesthetically pleasing shape covered with a soft padded cushion to add comfort and functionality to the design. Non imposing by design there permeable form allows the chair to lightly fit in with it surroundings. In Bertoia’s own words, “If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes through them”
