The famous Charles Eames Iconic Lounge Chair Ottoman was designed in 1956, for the fiftieth birthday of his friend Hollywood film maker Billy Wilder.
Our Iconic Eames inspired Lounge chair is a supremely comfortable chair, upholstered with high quality and durable Italian leather and has sumptuously cushioned leather seat pads which invites you in. Set on a wood-veneered plywood shell on aluminium supports and a cast aluminium base. Shock mounts allow the backrest and headrest to flex slightly in use.
Charles & Ray Eames were 20th century furniture designers. Together they had a lasting influence on mid-century design and are regarded as two of the most iconic furniture designers of their time.
